1、西瓜

2、柚子

柚肉中含有非常豐富的維生素C以及類胰島素等成分,故有降血糖、降血脂、減肥、美膚養容等功效。

經常食用,對高血壓、糖尿病、血管硬化等疾病有輔助治 療作用,對肥胖者有健體養顏功能。 柚子還具有健胃、潤肺、補血、清腸、利便等功效,可促進傷口愈合,對敗血癥等有良好的輔助療效。



3.、檸檬

檸檬具有預防和減少糖尿病并發癥的作用,這主要是因為其中含有一種特殊成分圣草枸櫞苷。

實驗證明,它可以大大減少糖尿病患者肝臟、腎臟以及血液中過酸化脂肪的含量。

檸檬還是預防心血管病的食物,高血壓、心肌梗死患者常喝點檸檬飲料,對改善癥狀有很大益處。


4、番石榴

番石榴果實營養豐富,具有保健養顏的功效,尤其是維他命C含量最高,可防治糖尿病。

番石榴色、香、味俱全,外形色澤十分誘人,味道清甜,果肉嫩滑脆口。番石榴有降血糖作用,對糖尿病患者有獨特的功效;含纖維高,能有效的排走積存在腸內的宿便。

【健康资讯】有梅毒的人可以生小孩吗?



梅毒是一种慢性传染病。得了梅毒是会传染给其他人的,但是梅毒抗体阳性就不一定会传染了。因为梅毒抗体包含两种抗体。

梅毒抗体阳性会传染吗?

梅毒抗体阳性是否有传染性,需要看是哪种抗体阳性,只有确定后才能确定是否有传染性。



梅毒抗体

梅毒抗体包含梅毒螺旋体特异性抗体(TPHA)和梅毒螺旋体非特异性抗体(RPR)(即梅毒滴度)。梅毒螺旋体特异性抗体一旦产生,终生是阳性的。梅毒螺旋体非特异性抗体敏感性非常高,感染四周以上就能检查出来。

RPR

95%的梅毒病人都会呈阳性反应;但某些自身免疫性疾病(如SLE、硬皮病)及孕妇等也会出现假阳性反应,但一般较弱。

RPR可以按照病情感染的严重程度,滴度也会发生变化。通过观滴度的变化即可诊断是否是活动性梅毒感染?以及治疗后疗效反应怎么样,但是这种方法不是很完美的。为什么这样说呢?梅毒治疗后,痊愈的过程是非常漫长的,一般需要三年的时间,我们必须通过三年观察期,最后才能判断梅毒是否痊愈。其根本原因,就在于所使用的梅毒诊断方法还是不完善。

一般说的滴度的检查是指梅毒非特异性抗体(包括快速血浆反应素试验RPR)的滴度,它是判断梅毒愈后的标准,阴性就说明已愈。


TPHA

梅毒螺旋体特异抗体(TPHA)是诊断的确诊试验,部分患者治愈后仍可终生阳性。这两个试验结果要结合来看:

第一种情况:快速血浆反应素试验阳性, 梅毒螺旋体特异抗体1:40以上,为正在感染梅毒。这时会有传染性。

第二种情况:快速血浆反应素试验阴性, 梅毒螺旋体特异抗体1:40以上,为既往感染梅毒。即便治好了,终身携带抗体。故RPR试验一般用于梅毒的诊断筛选,阳性时应做梅毒螺旋体特异性试验加以确诊。这时不会有传染性。


有梅毒的人可以生小孩吗?

一般孕妇患梅毒,梅毒螺旋体可以通过胎盘感染胎儿,但一般在妊娠早期不会出现流产,可能是由于病原体对胎儿的毒性还很弱。如果孕前6~12个月内感染梅毒,又未经治疗,多会导致孕妇的晚期流产或死胎。


患晚期梅毒的孕妇如果没得到治疗,新生儿有50%会有先天性梅毒的体征。如果患者在梅毒潜伏早期受孕并从未治疗过,那么可以引起胎死不下,或生下有梅毒体征的新生儿。

晚期隐性梅毒一般不再传染,对孕妇却例外,其胎儿仍有被感染的可能。


分娩时,新生儿即使外表正常,血清学反应呈阴性,但也有可能是先天潜伏梅毒,到儿童后期或成人期早期时,出现梅毒症状和血清学试验阳性。

结论:

梅毒的传染途径是血液传播、母婴传播,所以要治愈后才可以在医生的指导下要孩子,否则会传染给孩子。导致孩子得先天性梅毒,甚至会引起早产和死胎。

If you have a cough that arises immediately in a certain environment or season, you may have an allergy. 


Symptoms to Watch Out For

Respiratory tract infections involve body aches and fever, whereas allergies do not. You should see a doctor if you develop a fever or experience chills, as these symptoms can be a sign of a serious lung infection like bronchitis. You should also seek medical attention if your cough is violent or you produce thick, bad-smelling, off-colored phlegm.


You can treat coughs due to colds, allergies, and sinus infections with a number of over-the-counter medicines. So pay a visit to your nearest GP clinic for the treatment.

Broccoli And Tomatoes Combination Creates Anti-Cancer Superpower?

Most of the available studies shows that the effects broccoli alone on inhibiting cancerous growths and tumors depends on one compound named sulforaphane. It is a molecule within the isothiocyanate group of organosulfur compounds. These studies also found that the valuable sulforaphane molecule effectively fights cancer cells while not damaging surrounding healthy tissues. Another scientific truth is that the compound lycopene, found in tomatoes among other foods, is a great fighter against life-threatening illnesses. Lycopene is an important intermediate in the biosynthesis of many carotenoids, including beta carotene.

However, in our focus here is a certain study brought out by the Journal of Cancer Research which reveals that these two compounds combined together in a single meal turn into an anti-cancerous giant! 
John Erdman
John Erdman, University of Illinois Food Science and Human Nutrition Professor, who conducted the study, said that eating tomatoes and broccoli together creates an additive effect. His exact explanation is this: “We think it is because different bio-active compounds in each food work on different anti-cancer pathways.”

As it is usually done in scientific work, John Erdman and his associates conducted their research on laboratory rats, infecting them with prostate cancer cells. Then the rats were divided into several testing groups and each group was fed with various diets.
Progression of Prostate Cancer
One group was fed with 10 percent tomato powder and 10 percent broccoli powder at the same time, while others were given only 10 percent tomato powder or only 10 percent broccoli powder. There were also two more tested groups: one group was given lycopene only and the other group was given the prostate drug finasteride.

Can you guess what the outcome was? Well, the last group that was treated with finasteride was castrated! Solely the group of rats which received both broccoli and tomato powders experienced the greatest benefit.

Prostate Problem
Their prostate tumors shrunk significantly more compared with the other tested groups. The same health benefit for men diseased with prostate cancer can be gained if there are about 1.4 cups of raw broccoli and 2.5 cups of fresh tomatoes on their daily menu, researchers say.

"About one out of six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime" 

Announced by the American Cancer Society. And about 1 man out of 36 men will die of this type of cancer!

You Sleep During the Night in a Cold Room? Here is What can Happen to You!

Sleeping is essential to maintain a good health, as we all know. But, a new study has shown that sleeping in a colder room temperature environment can improve your health. Colder sleeping rooms can subtly transform your brown adipose tissue (considered as a good adipose) into higher consumption of energy and metabolism, even during the day.

Good Sleeping is Essential
Until recently, scientists have considered that adults do not have brown adipose, but during the last couple of years, a very small amount in the size of a teaspoon, has been found in the neck and the upper part of the back in many adults. This is a very important brown adipose, and contrary to the well known white adipose, it is metabolically active. Mice experiments have shown that sugar needs to be out of the bloodstream so that calories can be burnt and inside temperature of the body is maintained.

Sleeping in lower temperature
Apparently, a similar process occurs in people, as well. A new study, published by the American Diabetes Association in July, in collaboration with the National Institute for Health, has researched the influence of controlled climate conditions in bedrooms in which 5 young men- volunteers slept for several months. During the day, the young men lived their normal lives, but it the nighttime they slept in the Institute. All meals, including lunch were provided for them so that proper intake of calories is guaranteed. They were covered with light sheets.

During the first month, researchers have kept a temperature of 24°C, since they considered that neutral temperature would not cause body reactions. The next month, they lowered the temperature to 19°C, which they considered that it would stimulate, in smaller amounts, the brown adipose tissue (but it will not cause trembling, which is a usual reaction of lower temperatures). The next month, the temperature was restored to 24°C so that all effects from the cold room were abolished. At the end of the last month they increased the temperature to 27°C. Blood sugar, insulin level and intake of calories were tracked during the experiment, and also after each month, the amount of brown adipose was measured.
Inner Body temperature raised
The research showed that cold temperature had significantly changed their bodies. The most surprising fact was that after sleeping in a temperature of 19°C, the volume of brown adipose in the young men had doubled. Their insulin sensitivity was better under the influence of change in sugar in the blood. Francesco S. Celi, one of the researches and a professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University, claims that although these were light changes, they are important. These are young and healthy men, but with the very fact of sleeping in a cold room they gained metabolic benefits in comparison to others. In time, these benefits can decrease their risk of diabetes and other metabolic problems. They also lost several calories during sleeping in a cold room (yet not so much that it would result in weight loss through those few months). The metabolic improvements were gone after sleeping in a temperature of 27°C. In fact, they had even less than during the first scan.

The Message of the studies was:
In order to improve your metabolism, lower the temperature for a few degrees in your bedrooms. Sleeping in a cold room or showering with cold water creates full increase of inner body temperature which contributes to the strengthening of the immune system and speeding of the metabolism, especially in the moments when we relax.
